Try to create your own ice hockey team, consisting of very unique and special players and take part in a wacky league in this very fun and humorous game. In Slapshot each player tries to manage his team in the best possible way through transfers and exchanges. But be careful because other players are lurking to steal your stars and injuries will force you to make changes to your team.
Number of players: 2-6
Average duration: 45'
Interaction: Player interaction is probably the strongest point of the game, as you will constantly try to steal from your opponents their strongest players in order to weaken them and strengthen your team, while at the same time you will have to play matches with your opponents and win them to score points.
Difficulty Level: Slapshot is a very simple game in which you need only a few minutes both to learn it and to explain it to young and novice players.
Gameplay: The fact that the 54 cards of the game depict 54 different players, combined with the characteristics of some of them, is something that adds enough variety to the game but gives little depth to it, though without making it tiring.
Component quality: Both the illustrations and the quality of the contents of the game varies from moderate to low levels. However it is worth mentioning that the illustrations of the players along with their names add humor to the gameplay, while one of the positive features of the game is that the box storage space is properly configured.
Slapshot is a fairly simple, relaxing and humorous game with an original theme that creates a very light and enjoyable gaming experience.
Who is it for:
Family Gamer: Yes. A simple, fun and humorous game that will surely satisfy every player in this category.
