Serious Play Conference, entering their 10th year as the annual leadership gathering of serious games thought leaders, will return to George Mason University with a 3 day event featuring more than 75 practical sessions on game-based learning for every market sector.

Training leads from corporations and medical institutions will share the challenges and what they've learned using sims and gamification for staff and patient training. Instructional designers, psychologists and brain science researchers will talk how to create games with solid evaluation and assessment. Higher ed faculty and ed tech teachers will discuss game-based learning in K-12, college and medical schools.
There will also be a government/military track with practical sessions on emergency response to terrorism and preparation for public health threats. Contractors and military staff will also share how the DOD training can be applied to local and state government, business and healthcare.
