Pegasus Spiele and Frosted Games enter a new partnership in 2018. Pegasus Spiele takes over the exclusive distribution for a selection of Frosted Games titles.
Starting with the murder-mystery Ausgespielt! (including its upcoming English edition Gamer Over!) as well as the strategic 2-player-games 13 Tage and 13 Minuten, the games distributed exclusively by Pegasus Spiele will feature the Pegasus Spiele logo on the box cover.
Game reviewer Matthias Nagy founded Frosted Games towards the end of 2014, wanting to release an official advent calendar for board gamers. On top of the annual board game advent calendar, filled with promos for popular and trending board games, Frosted Games has also published a Board Game Easter Basket, Goodie Boxes for the Deutscher Spielepreis as well as the first few games (Die Zünfte von London, Undercover, Harbour).
Considering the growing number of releases, Matthias Nagy wanted to give more players access to these games, which is now going to be possible thanks to the new partnership with Pegasus Spiele. Both companies are looking forward to working together and the new chances coming with the cooperation. A selection of the upcoming new releases by Frosted Games will be distributed exclusively by Pegasus Spiele, and will feature the Pegasus Spiele logo on the box. Of course, all other Frosted Games products will be available through Pegasus Spiele distribution as well. The first exclusive titles will be Ausgespielt! – Der Messe-Krimi (including the up-coming English edition), as well as the strategic two-player games 13 Tage – Die Kuba-Krise 1962 and 13 Minuten (which are German versions of 13 Days and 13 Minutes). More games are in the planning stage.
Ausgespielt! – Der Messe-Krimi is a classical murder-mystery game for seven or eight players, but with a very unusual setting, since the crime scene is the SPIEL – the largest board game fair in the world. The players take on the role of a strict fair organizer, a moody security guard or an aspiring, young game designer. One player is the culprit, and the other players try to find out who among them it is, using the limited information given to them throughout the game. An English edition is already in development and will be released at GenCon 2018.
